Singapore’s definitive and celebrated annual dance music festival ZoukOut continues its tradition of bringing Zouk’s spirit and energy to the great outdoors and an even wider audience as the internationally recognized festival enters its fifth season this year.
Five years after its very first mega music festival, ZoukOut returns once again to the newly upgraded Siloso Beach area; where it was first held in 2000. On December 10, 2005, for 12 hours from dusk till dawn (8pm – 8am);
ZoukOut will transform the resort landscape into a magical clubland with four stages featuring a broad spectrum of genres including house, tribal, progressive, techno, trance, electro, indie, hip hop and of course the very popular Mambo Jambo soundtrack. This year’s blockbuster line up features some of the biggest artists in the ever-growing field of electronic dance music today,
Including.
World Number No.3 DJ Armin Van Buuren; Way Out West’s Nick Warren; Techno Wizard Sven Väth; Tribal house heroes Chus & Ceballos; House legend Lil’ Louie Vega of Masters At Work; Chart topping hit-maker Martin Solveig; Peter Kruder of Kruder and Dorfmeister fame, Stephane Pompougnac of the best-selling Hotel Costes CD series and pioneer of Hip Hop turntablism Cash Money, with more names to be confirmed soon. In line with the healthy resurgence of alternative live music.
ZoukOut 2005 hosts a live stage featuring local favourites, the chart-topping Electrico and the new outfit, Slowjaxx Does Dallas made up of members from Stoned Revivals, Force Vomit and Moods.
In addition to the stellar lineup, there will also be a refreshing corner; brimming with rejuvenating massage, make up and other goodies to keep clubbers looking pristine at the coastline, plus side activity tents that will feature interactive action games and art installations. Cultural and language barriers aside.
ZoukOut is the dance festival that unites clubbers from all of Asia together under the common denominator of a feel-good, exuberant experience. It is this dynamism that has made ZoukOut the ‘MUST GO’ dance festival for music fans from all over the region.

Bird - day

4 days ago. I finished training at ard 8+, me and the guys went fer dinner at bukit timah market. After the fufilling dinner, Hazel and I wondered off to town as the guys went home according to them. We went to plaza sing first as i wanted to watch a movie. Then Hazel suggested that we go take a drink at the orchard beer garden, i thought, why not? We sat there with me reminiscing about my last 5 mins of life as an 18 year old. As the clock struck 12, i was 19. I took my last mouth and wanted to leave. Suddenly, "HAPPY BIRTHDY TO YOU, etc etc...." I was shocked. It was the guys!! The surprised me with a cake and presents, a Zara Pants and a Zara Superman tee. Wow... It was lovely la. The cake looked something lydat.

We ordered drinks and sat fer a while to chit chat here and there. After that we wanted to go off to dota somewhere. So we took pics first. Heres one with every one in it.

Well that day was great. And Hazels Birthday is coming up soon! Oh please tell me wad i should buy or do for her. I am totally clueless!
Anyway, the next day, the guys and I went fer steamboat at marina. It was great, free flow crabs, beef, prawns and chicken. Its like so close to heaven la. We started eating at around 630 and ended at ard 9 i think. Thats 2 and a half hours of pure pleasure. After that we took a train to City Hall to make our way to suntec fer Deuce Bigalow : European Gigolo. This was the pic with us on the train. Randall, Joyce, Darren and Paxton Faces were blocked. Too bad =p

Back to the movie.

Back to serious business, the movie was alrite, not fantastic. It was rather overated by critics. Fer me the humour was just right, but nothing too funny till the stage where by " My cheek muscles are aching" Nothing of that sort. Storyline was continuous, but the most dissapointing factor about the movie, its only 1hr 37 mins long. Everything happen too fast fer u to actually grasp wads going on. Fer me i will rate the movie 3/5 Cookies Image hosted by Photobucket.comImage hosted by Photobucket.comImage hosted by Photobucket.com

Septuagenarian Stories

Last few days fer me was like whoosh. I mean i couldnt see anything that was coming my way, was kinda happy yesterday though. For one, Kelvin, Randall and Darren bought me a pair of Havianas Trekkers for my birthday, i been longing fer that fer a very long time. Thanks to them, i am in higher sprits. Heres a picture of them Havianas. Chew ur tongues out homies.

I love Havianas la. My first pair got kinda stolen by Mr ACJC, Johnathan Wong. So there u go a new pair. Thanks, u arse holes. =x
On another note, me and Hazel poured our hearts out to each other yesterday. I feel more relaxed and more "free of burden" if u know wad i mean. Anyway, i went home yesterday and i noticed this this lady holding something really big near a stairway corner. I walked nearer and nearer, it almost freaked me out to see this....

Its damn scary all, it really looks like a girl holding this gigantic icecream all ready to devour it up in front of me. Yucks. Almost scared the living shit outta me.

Anyways, i was think of leaving a goatee fer me. Well i am in kinda of a dilema becoz there are so many types of goatees. So i decided to put my Paint skills to work and drafted out a few possibilities.

First pic is classic indian gansta look. Kinda cool and very manly at the same time, Groovy!

Second pic is the Craig David style, no moustache but full of attitude with the bottom goatz, Kinky!

Third pic is the DIY style, this happens when u do not know how to leave a goatee or shave, Shit happens!

Last pic is the everlasting italian style, a small triangle on the top of the bottom lip with nothing on the extreme top or bottom, Sexy!

Well thats all i have fer u todaes, pls tell me which one is more suited fer me. Not like i will be able to grow one but ya, suggestions are always welcomed. There u go, my nose's hairs worth.

Sun, sand and shit photos

Here i go updating agian. Wow, its been long huh....
Anyway, done a few things these few days. Been, training, training, training and ......
Yeah!!! Sentosa!!!
Yes i actually found the time to go to sentosa. With a few Barker guys and the NAWP ppl.
Anyway. I jus relised that my passion fer waterpolo has rekindled with me. It was kinda leaving me fer someone else, and when i relised that it was happening, i confessed my love fer it, and then, it felt touched once agian and came back to my side. Back to the topic. Hazel decided to take a picture of me and it turned out like this

Bull-shit. Well, i did play a part in the actual photo la. I posed! Anyway, i was kinda amused how it turned out. Anyway, we had 3 activities going on fer us at sentosa; waterpolo, touch rugby and volley ball. When the sun is shining down directly at you at almost 40 degrees, trust me, it isnt easy to run or swim. We stayed there from ard 2 pm till around the late evening when we decided to call it a day. We ask a very cute old japanese couple to help us with taking some pics as a group. First, i ask her and gave her the cam, then Mark came and gave her another one, then Thomas came and stuffed her with another cam, she was more or less a good sport though, no complains just smiles. The photo turned out lydat.

We then packed up and left the place. We bathe, changed and left sentosa fer habour front shopping centre. We ate this superb dish call "Hot and spicy seafood mini steam boat"
I bought it first, after everyone smelling and glancing at it, they all decided that it was the dish of the day as well. Too bad i do not have pic of it. But this is a rough sketch of it la

Man it wad delicious la. After this we went home loh.
Kinda anti-climax ending huh.

Jealousy

How to conquer Jealousy, a step by step guide. A friend recently talked to me about this.
I find that jealousy exist in all living souls, be it little or much. So this might help u along the way if u ever jealousy gets in the way of the progression of ur life. Hope i helps!

Seperate the facts and the stories!!!!! In "emergency" or intense situations, what we recommend to our coaching clients (and to you) is that you consciously breathe deeply and simply allow those feelings to be there without acting on them. This sounds counter-intuitive but it does really work! You might think that if you focused on the feelings that they will intensify, but if you are "breathing into" those feelings, the exact opposite happens. "Whether you believe that you can do something or not, you're right." WHAT IS JEALOUSY?Jealousy is a whole bundle of feelings that tend to get lumped together. Jealousy can manifest as depression, feeling powerless, loneliness, envy, anger, feeling left out, hurt, anxiety, betrayal. It is crucial to understand what jealousy is and what it is about. Jealousy is about fear--fear of the unknown and of change, fear of losing power or control in a relationship, fear of scarcity and of loss, and fear of abandonment. It is a reflection of our own insecurity about our worthiness, anxiety about being adequate as a lover, and doubts about our desirability.how to deal?Either he is the one for you or he isn't. There will always be someone more attractive but do they have substance? If he really wants you -- he won't make you jealous. When you communicate together openingly you should address this issue --why he wants to make you jealous and perhaps he can assure you there is nothing to fear. Jealousy is a self-defeating emotion that can drive away the love we crave. Realize you are the one over-reacting.jealousy for those who can not control it eats away at the core of the relationship in the one thing that holds it together -- trust.Realize he chose you for your uniqueness. Your every bit as good if not better than those other girls. Remember that trust is the foundation of any relationship, and you shouldn't let your insecurities destroy yours.Stop and think what triggers the jealousy exactly? Also keep in mind jealousy can be a pattern from when you were younger. Be gentle, easy on yourself and discuss the situations when they trigger calmly with your partner.. If your partner doesn't think they are important, discuss the situation with friends for a reality check, join a group and get their viewsSTEPSHave self-confidenceThinking PositiveExercise The Way you Dress -- i.e. you feel and look greatGive and Receive (treat others as you expect to be treated) even if you get nothing back. Give what you want. If you want more cooperation and respect, give respect and cooperate. If you want to succeed, help others succeed. If you want more joy, be more joyful. And be open to giving to yourself. Honor your own worthiness to receive or no one else will. When we circulate our positive energy, we create more and more to enjoy. Giving is good as long as you do not let others take advantage of you.Surround yourself with good people.Set goals and meet them.Managing your jealousy begins with the acknowledgement that you are jealous. Repression or denial may only make things worse. Stop debating whether the feeling is good or bad. Accept it as your emotional reality and go from there. Accept that your feelings of insecurity will not go away overnight. They are something you are going to have to work on. Look at them rather like you would look at an .... addiction to cigarettes - you have to work at stopping.Try to be your unique self. Don't compare yourself to others. We all need to boost our self-confidence in different ways and for different reasons. The trick is to find out where you need to improve and then go out and do just that. When you have faith in yourself, life makes more and more sense, and seems increasingly like something you can tackle. Most of all self-confidence takes time.
