Down Under

Hi all, long time no post man. Its my Ocom presentation tml and i am suffering a series of panic attacks, not to mention the headaches and muscle aches i am expericencing. Anyway, just got back from Perth. Loved to weather there, dry and hot, but humidity there is like damn low la. U get a sunburn without knowing it cos the wind there is so freaking cold. At night it was a staggering 12 degrees, what i would like to call a summer gone wrong. To make maters worse we arrived there at night, not knowing wad to expect of the weather there. Look at me and Jian wens happy and freezing expression.

We stayed at mailto:trinity@perth , i know, you must be thinking now Perth where got trinity, its in melboure. That was wad i initially thought as well, but wad i found out was that it was a RESIDENTIAL colleage, not like the one in melboure. Anyway, me and Jian Wen stayed in a room together. Not bad, a lil down on the furnishings though.

The next day was the opening of the games, the waterpolo matches were held at the challenge stadium, yes, the challege stadium, the one that hosts the waterpolo world cup. It was really an experience.

Nothing much really happened there, but we saw a really really really tall china guy that played Volleyball, we insisted that we had a shot with him.

Anyway, he really amazed me. We went shopping a few days later at perth city, i realised that every 4 shops i walk pass, it was 1 surf shop. Wad a freaky sight. I got to see the true blue, most authentic quiksilver boarders club there.

It was quite cool la. Nothing much really happened there except for waterpolo matches and late night clubbing and drinking. Beer is cheap there. 48 cans fer a whopping AUST$50. Thats almost $1 a can. I rather buy beer then get a can of coke there, $3.50 is the price of a bottle of coke, a bottle of beer cost $2.90. So which would u choose? Back to waterpolo matches, we were down to support the south africans in their match with UWA, i borrowed their wig and the VooVooZilla, a native horn, really loud.

They ended up winning 9-8. I wonder why. Days pass rather quickly and sooner then we knew, we had to depart back to home the next day. I took a picture with our very nice bus cordinater in my thanks to her for helping me get around... Yeah right, it was just because Darren was crazy about her and i just made it a point that i had balls, unlike him.

We took a team picture on the last day before we departed.

I have more pictures with darren and its the sights and sounds of perth, but dun think u guys will be very much interested, but i will post them up anyway when i get them. Till then saty tuned.
